An Update

The more regular visitors of this blog (there aren't many of you but you're there nonetheless) may have noticed some changes around here. My blog looks different and my content is going to see some minor changes.

Feeling Connected

It's very easy to feel disconnected from yourself when you're busy. What with studying and deadlines and work and moving, I'm beginning to feel as though I'm just acting on auto-pilot and not taking enough time to check in with myself. However, I am working on it and I've made it my goal for the rest of this month to spend more time thinking and less time avoiding it.

Why I'll Never Bullet Journal

According to their website, bullet journals are a "customisable and forgiving organisation system. It can be your to-do list, sketchbook, notebook, and diary, but most likely, it will be all of the above. It will teach you to do more with less." It feels like everyday I'm reading another blog post about how all the different symbols, colours and the hours spent drawing out the index and the future log have "changed my life." But I don't just don't buy it. Here's why:

Spring Cleaning 101:

I was going to start this blog post by saying that I'm incredibly sorry for it's lateness but I've been listening to the Guilty Feminist Podcast and I've realised that when it comes to my blog, the only person I'm really accountable to is myself. So, whilst this blog post is slightly late, that's okay. Worse things have happened!

Anyway, I love Spring. For me, it's definitely a refreshing time; a clean slate; a chance to sort everything out.
